Switch from dairy milk to an alternative like almond, coconut, rice, hemp, or soy if you’d like but I don’t recommend soy because it’s not fermented. I drink almond and use it in cooking when milk is needed. Try Daiya vegan cheese. It melts and it tastes good! I use it in whatever foods I want cheese in, like pizza or lasagna. If you like ice cream, try coconut ice cream, soy ice cream, or just go with sorbet. I have yet to try soy yogurt but it’s on the list and you can use that if you like to eat yogurt. OH… Earth Balance butter. It’s the healthiest butter that you can buy, it’s vegan, and it tastes really good! If you like mayo, veganaise is pretty good. There is also egg substitutes that you can use for baking or just for eating. I think you can use apple sauce to replace eggs in baking as well though I haven’t tried that. There are other vegan products as well like vegan cream cheese and other things. The vegetarian site also has some more substitutes for vegans and vegetarians. Sometimes only certain stores will carry some of the items so you can try the grocery store that you shop at or the health food stores in your area. read more..
